This post-recording AI processing approach ensures maximum transcription accuracy while maintaining strict privacy — the AI never sees your audio again after processing.
Account Information: Your email address and authentication credentials when you register. We do not collect your name unless you provide it voluntarily.
Audio Recordings: Transmitted to our AI engine for processing only. Never stored permanently. Deleted immediately after transcription is complete.
AI Transcript Output: The text produced by the AI after processing your audio. Stored in your account until you delete it or close your account.
Usage Data: Transcription count, subscription tier, and feature usage — used to enforce plan limits and improve the Service.
Device Fingerprint: A privacy-safe identifier (device model + OS version) used for Free tier limit enforcement only. No personal information is extracted.
Subscription Data: Your subscription status and billing history, provided to us via RevenueCat from Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store payment card details.
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to any third party.

VoxScribe AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at support@voxscribeai.com and we will delete it promptly.
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data in transit, and encryption at rest for stored data via Supabase. Your audio is transmitted over HTTPS and deleted immediately after AI processing. No transmission method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your data may be processed in data centres outside your country of residence. Groq (AI processing) and Supabase (database) operate global infrastructure. By using the Service, you consent to these transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place with all providers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
