These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VoxScribe AI ("Service", "App"), and the website at voxscribeai.com ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you confirm you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
VoxScribe AI is an AI-powered transcription application available on iOS and Android. The Service records your audio and uses Groq Whisper AI to convert it into clean, structured text. Transcription is processed after recording, not in real-time. The AI analyses the full audio to ensure maximum accuracy before delivering your text output.
We offer the following subscription tiers:

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@voxscribeai.com immediately of any unauthorised use.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not process or store your payment details. By subscribing, you authorise the applicable platform to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
The Plus plan includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. If not cancelled before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged for the first billing period. Cancel anytime via your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
VoxScribe AI uses Groq Whisper, a state-of-the-art AI speech-to-text engine. When you record audio or upload a file:
Transcription accuracy may vary based on audio quality, background noise, accent, and language. We continuously improve our AI models to deliver the best possible results.
Your audio is never stored permanently. It is processed by the AI engine in near-real-time and deleted immediately after your transcript is generated. Only the text output is retained in your account until you choose to delete it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You agree not to use VoxScribe AI to:
The VoxScribe AI name, logo, application, and all associated technology are our intellectual property. You retain full ownership of the text output generated from your audio. You grant us a limited licence to process your audio solely to deliver the transcription service.
The Service integrates with: Groq (AI speech processing), Supabase (database and backend infrastructure), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple / Google (app distribution and payments). Your use of these providers is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that AI transcription output will be error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. AI accuracy varies by audio quality and language.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxScribe AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
We may update these Terms at any time. We'll notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.
